Val Oliveira is the heart and hustle behind Hagen Hus Gallery. As gallery manager and Public Relations lead, he juggles social media, press, website updates and often sales.
Originally from Brazil, Val has called the U.S. home for the past 12 years. Before that, he was a political and economic reporter and worked in corporate communications in São Paulo. These days, he channels that experience into building bold branding strategies and launching creative projects that make the gallery’s art feel accessible and exciting.
He’s also the life partner of Leif Hagen, often teaming up with him to spot trends, grow audiences and bring new creative energy to the gallery.
Val’s brain never hits pause—he’s bursting with ideas 24/7. He’s a proud LGBTQIA2S+ advocate, an artist at heart and a storyteller who believes in the power of community, connection and just a little bit of sparkle.
